The Aunt / Uncle DNA Test, scientifically known as Avuncular Testing, determines a biological relationship between aunt/uncle & niece/nephew.

• Accuracy Range: -20% exclusion or 80%+ probability.
• Analysis Time: 3-5 weeks.
• Participants: One alleged aunt/uncle, one niece/nephew.
• Other Information: The probabilities can be increased greatly if other known relatives, such as a parent of the niece or nephew, are available for testing. 3-5 weeks.

With the Aunt / Uncle DNA Test, samples are collected from the alleged aunt or uncle and from the niece or nephew. These samples can be collected at home or at an official collection centre. The samples are obtained using a cheek swab (provided by DNA Solutions). After samples are sent to the laboratory, results will be available within 3-6 weeks.
